Kremenets

Kremenets (Ukrainian: Кременець, translit. Kremenets’) is a city in the Ternopil Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Kremenetsky Raion (district), and rests 18 km north-east of the great Pochayiv Monastery. The city is situated in the historic region of Volhynia.
